Our Story

Women in Comics Collective International, (WinC for short, pronounced  "Wink"), is an artistic and informative Initiative that began in May 2012.

It serves to highlight the merit and craftwork of Marginalized People, especially that of Women and Queer folks, working in the Comic Book/Multimedia industries. In addition to focusing on the importance of literacy via the comic book medium. In 2015, and in partnership with Bronx Heroes Comic Con, we hosted and organized our first Annual Women in Comics Con aka WinC Con.
